How To Attract Targeted Leads So You'll Never Have To Buy Leads Again
If you really want to be successful online with building your mlm, network marketing or direct sales business, it's of paramount importance that you learn how to generate your own leads.
These will always without question be better than buying mlm leads that are generated by some third party and then passed onto you as a "targeted" lead.
So how does one go about generating their own targeted leads?
1. Create a Lead-Capture page
So, first and foremost, what you have to do is differentiate yourself from the masses. No marketing of replicated websites. They have their place but it's not at the beginning of the lead funnel.
Your lead capture page (or squeeze page) will simply be a page to pique the interest of your visitor and get them to submit their name, email address, and phone if you like in order to access the free report, audio, or whatever you're offering.
The copy should be enticing and hit on your main benefits so that your visitor will be compelled to access the information.
There's a great lead capture system that I highly recommend for both those with minimal online skills and those with more experience.
It'll allow you to set up a high impact lead generation landing page for any product or service in minutes. It includes lead page templates, a guide to creating your ad copy, allows you to add audio or video, and a signup form with auto responder. 2. On Following Up...
Next, you'll need some means for following up with your new fresh, targeted mlm leads. For this you can use a professional autoresponder service which will automate the process for you.
You set it up once with your email campaign and it takes care of the delivery at pre-determined intervals all on auto-pilot.
If you don't use an autoresponder, you're missing the boat and will just create more work for yourself.
There are only a couple of autoresponder services that I would recommend. If you use the lead capture system recommended, you'll have the added benefit of having an autoresponder included.
As another option, you could use aweber which is what I personally use along with the lead capture system. It's very reliable with lots of great features. Currently comes with a free internet seminar from Johnathan Mizel.
3. Moving on to how to generate Targeted Traffic...
This is probably the biggest obstacle and mystery for most people especially those in network marketing or direct sales.
When you get past all the hyped-up, lastest and greatest traffic techniques of all time that come around every week, you realize that what really works is the tried-and-true blue strategies which you've probably already known about. Let's go over some briefly:
* Articles - Hey, you're reading one right now. What a coincidence. Articles are a great way to generate traffic and very targeted traffic at that because they speak to a particular audience who can then visit your site through a link in your resource box at the end of the article.
* Press Releases - Press releases are another way to generate targeted traffic because they're posted on major news sites and can get picked up easily by other sites and the major search engines with links that point back to you.
* Blogs - Blogs are all about content and search engines love content. You provide content for your target market and it makes the search engines happy and your visitors. You'd have a link from your blog to your capture page.
* Pay-per-click - With ppc marketing you can have targeted traffic landing on your capture page in under 10 minutes. It's a very effective way to generate traffic because once you've got your campaign set up properly, you can generate traffic on autopilot. You definitely want to learn how to do this properly otherwise you could waste a lot of money.
So pick an area to start with and get your lead generation machine cranked up. Once you've got your ppc campaign going, get some articles out there, start a blog and keep adding to your arsenal.
Targeted lead generation is a very valuable skill to have as a network marketer because mlm leads are the life-blood of your business and now you can create an endless supply.
